I’m a big Jack fan. One of my friedns introduced met to him in 2001 and I then made all my freinds fans of his from playing him so much. I have all but the new album. I found Matt Costa through Jack and the Brushfire Lable.

For the demographic it was made for, I think it was a good album. It’s for children and families to enjoy, so I think it was fitting with songs like The Three R’s and the Sharing Song. I really disliked the mellow version of With My Own Two Hands, Ben Harper’s original is so great that when he did it this way I was kinda sad. If Jack had released it any other way, then I agree, it wouldn’t have sold. But since he was writing songs for the next generation I think he did a great job. I’m split 50/50 on it.

I see where your coming from. My brother and sister were younger when we bought it and they seemed to like it more than i did. I didnt like the version of lullaby on that cd either. Have you seen the video at some aol thing that matt did with jack. that has to be the best version of the song i have ever heard

I simply love Jack, I have every album including Curious George, which I think is great. I have two younger sisters and they love it too. I guess I like it much because im still a kid at heart. The latest album, Sleep, is awesome! but I think that my favorite Cd is Brushfire Fairytales.
Like most of you guys, I got introduce to Matt by Jack. Thanks to the “A Weekend at the Greek” DVD.b =D

True, but I loved the “Astair” Performance. From there I got “Songs We Sing”

i liked the little medly he did with jack. the fall line/sunshine one

Yeah that was awesome, Jacks coming to NC in Aug. so I think I may swing by that show. I can’t wait to see him, I have yet to Jack live, so this is going to be awesome and it’s in a great venue.
