OMG Squealer…you can not be serious?......I love ‘Where The Wild Thinsg Are’...I read that book all my life…I work with children, So I read it ALL the time….Jee this forum is wicked….we all have good taste in books, films , music and we all share the same humour.Loving it. Shannon…I am sooo excited..they delayed the film from November to July…..so waiting for a bit now….Not a pothead..but Love Harry Potter.The best books anyone can read ...seriously. When Deathly Hallows came out..me and my sister stood outside..Waterstones to get our books..it was soo much fun..All HP fans together..loved it..:) |

WTWTA is gonna be crazy. Can you imagine the people dressing up for it? It’s all happening. I worked with a group of kids last summer doing a puppet show adaptation of the story. it was silly and fun. My cousin once destroyed the hopes of hundreds of kids at a shopping mall when he won the ‘harry potter’ look alike contest. He’s never read a book or watched a movie and generally couldn’t care less about any of it, but he really does look like Harry, so he thought it’d be funny to go to the contest. |

that’s hilarious that your cousin won. we called a kid harry potter in high school because he looked just like him and acted british. i’m not really a ‘pott-head,’ i was just kidding, but i am totally stoked about the new movie! i never actually read deathly hollows because everyone told me what happened the NEXT day and j.k rowling is not really a good writer.

Now I wonder, has Matt Costa read Harry Potter? Honestly I love those books to death, and am looking forward to the next movie, even though the movies will never, ever do the books justice… I am really intrigued by this theme park concept. |

I might just have to check it out! I’ve never even been to Disney World/Land, but this seems pretty exciting. And I think there’s a lot in those books that kids probably don’t get/appreciate. I started reading them when I was about 20 (I’m 28 now- so old!), and I think I have a better understanding of them (and therefore I get more excited), if that makes any sense. What makes the books so freaking good is all the layers, etc. |
