im from the green forum. i hope.

this is weird. i consider this forum and the “green” forum to be the new forum. i want to know who here is straight for the original “matt costa ep” forum from 03/04 when matt used to force fretless to read steinbeck. i’d ask “hey matt when did you first write an original song” and he’d reply with “read steinbeck”. after a while i’d ask “matt…...whats todays date?” and he’d say “read steinbeck” and then one day i asked matt “want a drink?” and he said “read steinbeck” do i knew he was fucking with me!!

anywho. im fretless, and i have a drinking problem

Well, well, welcome back to cyberspace Dee! I just retrieved my passcode just to reply to YOU ;) I don’t have any funny stories to share, but I was getting a haircut, about a year ago, and I heard the song “Sweet Thursday,” and upon further investigation, the CD belonged to a male hair dresser…i think i gave a high -five to congratulate him or something. :P Anyway, thanks for the heads up on Mason Jennings coming to my area, i think I would have cried if I missed that…sincerely, haha. oh, and check your messages. :)

Fretless I’m not sure there are any left but if they are here (The Originals) maybe like 4 or 5 around somewhere.

I guess if I had seen Matt and the band recently at least i’d ehave that to talk about:)

Yeah generally I think it had better features, like how many people on, it tracks what you’ve read and what you havn’t etc and not to forget the pics and sigs. ahh fun times fun times.

Have you guys seen the post about Matt in the Oliver Peoples campaign? really nice eyewear.

whoever said we all got lives has been proven wrong by the length of this thread.  I’ve spent the past few weeks on no doubts forum, and look at all I’ve missed over here.  (btw, the no doubt forum has already voted on a design for their forum tshirt…I won’t be getting one.)

ummmmm. I’m mistaken just realised who daniel was actually refering to. Not Ted M. no issues between us- havn’t even met the guy - that was before I knew about the band.

This was with someone else in the band- after my first show seeing them live, I got a bit too excited and talked too much on the forum. he private messaged me and kinda shoot his finger at me in cyber space and I went away with my tail between my legs.

i can’t say more than that really- it’s water under the bridge..Things are cool.
