I freakin’ LOVE Demetri Martin. I’m so excited he’s gotten so successful and has finally gotten his own show. I can’t wait.

Also, while I’m here, I <3 Huckabees was an extremely wonderful piece of cinema.

i agree with everything you just said (:

one of my friends hated the movie, but i thought it was really brilliantly simple and offbeat. i was kind of thrown off by the muddy sex scene, but i actually hysterically laughed through it, so all was good in the neighborhood hahaha

You definitely have to have an offbeat sort of sense of humor to enjoy it I think, but you are very right about the brilliant simplicity of it. I also thought it actually made some good philosophical points as well.  The muddy sex scene was completely weird though. I had to laugh just at the sheer weirdness of it all.

exactly! geesh. i’m finding myself agreeing with you 100% on everything.
that’s how i’ve always viewed life. the way the movie did, y’know?
that, in life, with the shit, comes the good. and with the good, comes the shit.
and that we’re all interconnected and a part of each other.
i thought it was great.
and i’m the most easily amused person ever, so it really doesn’t matter what kind of humor it is. i’m almost guaranteed to laugh :P

and i will put my 2 cents in and say that they all look slightly the same but there is more demetri in there than matt

i havent seen i <3 huckabees but i have heard of it and i do <3 demetri martin. his large pad routine is halarious.
