I think it’s different, not better. UF shows a lot of development as a musician and experimentation with different sounds, in my opinion.
But you’re right. You pretty much need to buy SWS. Like, now. I hope that’s what you’re doing right now.
You’re absolutely right, I should have phrased that differently. I personally do find SWS to be more enjoyable, but I can’t say it’s better. I do have a soft spot for SWS, though. It being why I fell in love with his music in the first place.

Quite frankly, SWS is a phenomenal first album to put together. To have such a radically different array of sounds, yet to have them work together so well ... well, you know.
And yeah, I have a soft spot for it for the same reason. But I have a different soft spot for UF because it got me through the most difficult two months I’ve had to endure in a long time. Oh heartbreak.

LOL, I just fell asleep to that one last night. That’s definitely my favorite, second is sunshine :)

It seems that when a song that really catches your ear is your first exposure to an artist, it ends up being your favorite no matter how many great songs the artist produces. For me, it’s Astair. The same thing happend to me with Dashboard Confessional (Hands Down), and Ben Harper (Burn One Down).

My favourite are Yellow Taxi, Behind the Moon, and Lilacs… I suppose ! In fact it’s too hard to be sure !
