Yesterday Matt played in the lovely Tivoli in Utrecht. He started playing one or two songs all on his own. He looked quite tired and sounded like he had a couple of drinks to many. After he was joined on stage by his band he sort of woke up and played a pretty diverse set, i think about 50% of the songs were taken from his second album, 2 or 3 unreleased songs and the rest from his first album.
He ended with a very beautiful a capella song which i had never heard before.

Afterwards he was at the merchandise stand signing, talking and taking pictures with fans. There he told he was tired from traveling all the way from Wales to The Netherlands by bus and boat that day (they arrived at the venue at 8pm).

At the beginning of the concert I was quit disappointed because Matt appeared to be very sleepy and a little drunk, but after he told he was tired from travelling and the nescesary travelling sickness pills (which sort of numb your tongue and lips) I felt kind of sorry for him and hoped he would just be able to catch some sleep soon ;)
